About me

Relationships, with ourselves and with others, can be complex. At times, they can feel painful or overwhelming. Yet they also hold the potential for intimacy, pleasure, and meaningful change. I’m a sex and relationship therapist working with individuals and couples. I support people experiencing difficulties around sex or intimacy, including loss of desire, painful sex, erectile difficulties, or anxiety about closeness. You may feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. Often, what brings people to therapy is a wish for greater clarity, connection, and lasting change. My work is grounded in psychodynamic thinking, which recognises that present difficulties are often shaped by earlier relational experiences. By exploring unconscious patterns and internal conflicts, therapy can help make sense of emotional and relational struggles and open up new possibilities for change. As a psychosexual therapist, I understand that sexual difficulties are rarely only about technique or physiology. They often carry deeper emotional meanings. Together, we might explore themes such as desire and vulnerability, shame and pleasure, or intimacy and autonomy, in a way that feels thoughtful and contained. Therapy with me offers a confidential, supportive space to reflect deeply and honestly on these experiences. I aim to help you develop greater self-understanding, compassion, and freedom, so that your emotional and sexual relationships can feel more connected, fulfilling, and alive.

Training and qualifications

My training at Tavistock Relationships in London, a leading centre for relational and psychodynamic therapy, has shaped my understanding of how our past continues to influence our present – often in ways we may not immediately recognise. Alongside this psychodynamic foundation, I am expanding my clinical work through specialist training in psychosexual therapy, which explores the complex interplay between psychological, emotional, and physical aspects of sexuality. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked within corporate settings and complex organisational systems. This experience continues to inform my awareness of how workplace pressures, roles, and expectations affect emotional wellbeing and our sense of self, as well as how people navigate the balance between external demands and inner needs.
