About me

We all face challenges throughout life, sometimes these can feel overwhelming. We can loose confidence in ourselves and find it difficult to make decisions or move forward. There are many reasons for coming to therapy. There may be experiences in your past that still impact you or relationships that you want to improve. You may want to change direction but have trouble knowing exactly what this looks like. As an integrative therapist I aim to be open, responsive and present to whatever you bring to each session. I draw from psychodynamic, humanistic, existential and attachment informed approaches. This means I work with the impact of experiences in childhood and adolescence, but also pay close attention to current relationships and the here-and-now experience in the therapy room. I can also help to deepen awareness through embodied approaches if this is something you are open to. This can be particularly helpful when working with trauma and dissociation but can also give new perspectives on a situation that has felt stuck for a long time. What is important for me is to offer a space for you to explore in a way that works for you. I work with many issues including but not limited to: Relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, trauma, feeling stuck. work related related struggles such as stress, burn out, managing conflict or not feeling good enough. Issues relating to gender/sexuality and neurodiversity. I particularly enjoy working with people towards discovering a deeper sense of purpose, creativity and a stronger sense of their own potential. My practice is diverse and I am sensitive to social, sexual and cultural difference.  I am a fully qualified and registered Member of the BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). Booking an initial session  To find out more or book an initial session please contact me via phone or email and I will get back to you as soon as possible. We can then arrange an initial session for you to talk about what has brought you to counselling, this is an opportunity for us to meet and see how we might work together. I offer one to one 50 minute sessions on either a long term basis or for a shorter period.
