About me
I am a BACP registered psychodynamic psychotherapeutic counsellor with a background in psychology, education and the charity sector. I adhere to the BACP code of ethics and engage in regular supervision to ensure that my work provides the highest quality of care. I have worked with a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds and am committed to inclusivity in my practice. I have experience supporting clients with a broad spectrum of issues, including those related to anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, stress, sexuality, relationship challenges, family dynamics, work concerns, panic attacks and identity exploration. I am a neurodiversity-affirming therapist and have worked supporting clients who have ADHD and those who want to explore whether they may be neurodivergent. I also offer a safe and supportive space to explore the complexities of pregnancy and motherhood and welcome those who are navigating the challenges of being a mother. How I work: I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy, a therapeutic approach that explores how our past experiences and early relationships influence our current emotions, behaviours, and relationships. These formative dynamics often shape the way we see ourselves and others, and how we respond to stress, uncertainty, and responsibility—often without our conscious awareness. Through increasing insight into these unconscious patterns, we create space for personal growth, greater self-acceptance, and a more compassionate inner voice. Through our work together I hope to offer new perspectives, help build resilience, increase curiosity and make lasting change possible. I work with clients both in person and online, providing short term and open-ended therapy.
