About me

Well done for getting to here. Things can be better than they are today. Wouldn’t it be lovely to have a non-jugemental someone to talk to? To listen as you share and explore what you are really thinking and feeling – all that you have been keeping inside, hidden for too long. I am a registered integrative counsellor and therapist (MBACP) offering short and long-term therapy for 18+ adults in-person, online and by telephone in Clapham Junction, Wandsworth, London, SW11. I often work using an attachment-based approach. I have almost 2 years of recent experience working on a weekly basis for my local NHS Talking Therapy Service. I work Monday to Thursday from 8am to 8pm. For me, the relationship between the client and therapist is at the heart of our therapy.  We work together, yet you are the expert on you. You decide what we talk about, explore and untangle. We may reflect on your present worries, reflect on your early attachments, explore patterns within your life stories, think about how these impact your adult relationships and consider how you communicate (or struggle to communicate) with those you love. We may also notice where the stress you carry is evoked and held in your body. Whatever your concerns, problems, pressures, thoughts or feelings I am here to actively listen and to support you.   My life so far has been rich in terms of lived experience, motherhood work and travel and and has presented plenty of personal and professional challenges along the way. After many nourishing years teaching English at a local inner-city state secondary school for boys, I opted for a change choosing to embark on my second career in counselling. I am happily immersed in my therapy work and am thoroughly committed to supporting my clients. If you feel I may be the counsellor for you, pop to my website, find out more and contact me.  I offer a free 15-minute phone conversation which can be very helpful to share your hopes and expectations for therapy, to ask me any questions you may have and see if you feel we may have a potential connection. There is no obligation to book any number of sessions up front. Giving yourself a weekly 50-minute therapy opportunity to voice your worries in confidence can ease your emotional load, develop your curiosity and deepen your self-compassion.  By being here right now and reading this you have already taken the hardest step.  Hold onto your courage as you reach out to seek support to begin to restore and renew your well-being. I look forward to hearing from you. I value, respect, celebrate, and welcome diversity and difference.
