About me
My focus is on creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. I believe in the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients and I work collaboratively with them to help identify and address their unique needs and challenges. My approach is relational, informed by both psychodynamic and person centred theories, which means that I draw from a wide body of theory, exploring how our pasts influence our presents, as well as what is happening in the 'here and now'. I will work with you to help you gain insight, awareness, and understanding of yourself and your situation, and to support you to find better strategies for leading a more functional and ultimately more fulfilling life. I'm dedicated to exploring any issues you may encounter for as long as you need, whether that's over the short term or the longer term. I have experience in working with a wide variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship problems, self-esteem, identity, loss and particularly bereavement.
