About me

Hello, how are you doing? Really, I’d like to know :) I started training to be a psychotherapist to provide safe and comfortable spaces for people to be themselves and work through their issues no matter what. I volunteer at a charity at the moment providing therapy to people with trauma (including, sexual trauma, physical, psychological and emotional abuse) and varying issues ranging from emotional dysregulation, interpersonal issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, panic attacks, attachment-related issues and more. No matter what the issue my clients come with, I aim to be fully there and present with them and provide them with the space, relational security and acceptance to heal and grow. I want you to know, as your therapist, I am here with you! In my particular case, I found it difficult to find south Asian, Muslim therapists who were also in the LGBTQ+ community. It was hard to feel fully seen and heard when parts of myself were not mirrored back from my therapists. Therefore, I want it to be known to all minority groups and marginalised people, I see you, your experiences are valid and you are welcome here. The first introductory session is free, so you can feel it out and see if you would like to proceed with me as your therapist. We can then discuss how you would like to work towards setting therapeutic goals together and what the structure of our work may look like. I wish you all the best and look forward to meeting you!
