About me
I support individuals and couples through a range of challenges including anxiety, relationship difficulties, relational trauma, life transitions, and more. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings and experiences, understand patterns that no longer serve you, and work towards lasting change. Who I Work With I work with individuals experiencing a range of issues, including: - Anxiety, depression and stress - Low self-esteem and self-worth issues - Relationship difficulties and communication problems - Relational trauma and its effects on present relationships - Life transitions (career changes, becoming a parent, loss) - Unhelpful patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviours - Past experiences affecting present relationships I also work with couples facing various challenges, such as: - Communication breakdowns and conflict - Feeling disconnected or emotionally distant - Trust and intimacy issues - Life transitions impacting the relationship - Patterns that keep repeating My Approach I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is where healing happens. My approach is built on creating an open, trusting connection where you can feel heard and understood without judgement. I hold a Level 6 Diploma in Transactional Analysis (TA) Counselling and am in advanced training as a Psychotherapist. TA is an integrative, humanistic therapy that recognises that you have the power within yourself to grow and change. We'll explore how your life experiences and relationships - both past and present - shape how you communicate, relate to others, and feel about yourself. By deepening your self-understanding, we can work together to address unhelpful patterns and empower you to feel more in control of your life. My Background I bring over 20 years of experience in early years education in inner London, supporting diverse families through various challenges and life transitions. This work in a multicultural setting has shaped my commitment to inclusive, culturally sensitive practice and deepened my ability to create safe spaces where clients from all backgrounds feel genuinely heard and understood. Inclusive Practice I welcome people of all genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds. My practice is LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming. I work with an intersectional lens, understanding that aspects of your identity - including race, sexuality, gender, class, ability, and religion - shape your unique experiences and the person you are today. I'm committed to offering culturally sensitive, personalised therapy. Working Together In our sessions, whether you are coming as an individual or as a couple, you will find a collaborative space where: - You are met without judgement - Your experiences are validated - We work at your pace - You gain practical tools and deeper self-awareness - Lasting change becomes possible If this resonates with you and you would like to explore working together, please get in touch.
