About me

My approach integrates three different schools of thought about how best to help people, combining Person-Centred, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Psychodynamic. We will work together to work out which works best for you. This is very much your journey of self-discovery which I aim to help with by providing reflections and understanding. Talking cures can be effective to treat depression, anxiety and stress-related symptoms such as burn-out, whether or not you are also taking medication. In addition to my integrated approach I am also interested in bibliotherapy, poetry therapy, neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ There is no pressure to book in a session if you aren't sure but if you would like to have a 15 minute chat I would love to hear from you to see if we are a good fit. Many people feel that their issues don't warrant therapy but in my opinion anyone can benefit from the insights and sense of calm that therapy can offer.
