About me

It can feel hard finding time for yourself, to understand how you really feel. Are you feeling like you’ve tried to connect with others and felt misunderstood, different or rejected? Together we can work on finding ways for you to feel braver to be who you are, not who you feel you should be. Our focus together will be on you, your needs and priorities. I will be here to support you. In a world where things can feel strange and uncomfortable we can work together to understand and prioritise your needs and work through the obstacles in your way. Alongside general counselling, I’m interested in and have experience of supporting clients dealing with grief, loss and bereavement having volunteered for a national bereavement charity. I’ve worked with clients who identify as or have been diagnosed as neurodivergent and through my volunteer work and support work in the NHS I’ve gained a good understanding of the challenges neurodivergent clients face every day. During my volunteer work for a crisis helpline I supported people who had reached a point in their lives where they felt their only choice was to end their lives. Working with you, I aim to create a relationship where you feel comfortable talking to me about what has brought you to reach out for help and support.
