About me

I am a BACP - Registered Humanistic-Integrative Counsellor with a deep understanding of addiction, mental health, recovery and the lifelong impact of trauma. I offer a warm grounded space for adults navigating complex emotional histories, especially those shaped by loss, shame, identity struggles, or feeling disconnected from themselves and others. Whether you are navigating anxiety, grief, low self worth, the impact of sexual abuse or deep rooted questions about who you are and where you belong, I offer a respectful space to explore what is going on beneath the surface. You don't need to arrive with the right words, just a willingness to begin. My approach is integrative and relational. I draw on person-centered therapy, transactional analysis, and gestalt to meet you as a whole person, not a set of symptoms. Together, we slow things down, tune in to what matters, and gently explore the patterns, feelings and unmet needs that maybe shaping your life. At the heart of this work is a real, honest relationship, because that's where lasting change begins. I bring specialist experience in addiction, recovery and mental health, including work within the 12 step model and NHS funded and Charity settings. I have deep insight into the lifelong impact of adoption and attachment trauma, and I facilitate therapeutic groups for adults in drug and alcohol recovery and also a therapeutic group for adult adoptees. My practice is welcoming to survivors of sexual abuse and those carrying complex relational wounds, however early or recent. I'll meet you with empathy, respect, and a belief in your capacity to reconnect with yourself.
