About me

Maybe you’re carrying the weight of past trauma, struggling with a difficulty relating to sex or desire, dealing with a major loss or change, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. If you're feeling overwhelmed, shut down, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or facing something in your life that feels too much, you don't have to do it alone. I offer online therapy for adults seeking support to live with greater ease, fulfilment, and meaning. My approach is grounded in compassionate attunement to the body and draws on cognitive, emotional, behavioural, and somatic therapies to help you connect mindfully with your experience, meet pain and difficulty with care, and find ease and wellbeing. With over 20 years’ experience in mental health, I work in a compassionate, mindful, sex-positive, kink-aware, and gender-affirming way. Whether you're navigating trauma, grief, difficulties with sexuality, or another issue you would like to work with in a trauma-informed, somatic way, you're welcome to get in touch. I offer a space where all of you is welcome. I offer a free 15 minute discovery call for us to see if what you want help with and what I can offer are a good fit.

Training and qualifications

I’m a BABCP-accredited psychotherapist holding a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from LBSU and a Master’s degree in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy from Oxford University. My foundational clinical training began in 2003 with mental health nursing at King’s College London, followed by over a decade working in NHS inpatient and specialist outpatient services at the Maudsley Hospital. Since leaving the NHS and moving into private practice in 2017, I have specialised in mindfulness-, compassion-, and somatic-based therapies, working in an integrated, body-centred way with a wide range of issues. My specialist training includes certificates in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (somatic trauma therapy), and Psychosexual Therapy. I maintain my clinical skills through regular continuing professional development in topics related to trauma, altered states, and sexuality — including somatic intimacy coaching, CFT for PTSD, trauma-sensitive mindfulness, and ACT for psychedelic integration, among others. I have also completed training in clinical supervision to support psychotherapists and mindfulness teachers in their practice.
