About me

Feeling wired but exhausted? If you're running on a current of anxiety or weighed down by past events, you're in the right place to find solid ground. I'm Carlie, a therapist offering practical, down-to-earth support for adults ready for change. Does any of this sound familiar? Anxiety feels like it's running your life. You are relentlessly hard on yourself and struggle with low self-worth. You feel numb, "shut down," or disconnected from things you used to enjoy. Burnout has left you feeling depleted and lost. Past experiences, big or small, are impacting your present happiness. You're facing a major life change and need support to navigate it. How Our Sessions Can Help Together, we’ll create a steady, non-judgemental space to make sense of things. My trauma-informed approach means we will always work at a pace that feels manageable, ensuring you never feel overwhelmed. Our focus will be on practical results: Developing real-world tools to manage anxiety and emotional overwhelm. Understanding your patterns and triggers without self-blame. Gently processing difficult memories to reduce their power. Building self-compassion and learning to trust yourself again. I offer sessions online (UK-wide), in-person near Leighton Buzzard, and confidential Walk and Talk therapy on private land. Take the First Step Finding the right therapist is about connection. That’s why I offer a free, 30-minute introductory call. It’s a no-pressure way for us to talk, for you to ask questions, and to see if we're a good fit.
