About me
Making the decision to come to counselling is not easy. Choosing a counsellor can be equally daunting. What if we do not click? What if it doesn’t work or I don’t like my therapist? To help you with this decision I want to explain a little about myself and my approach. However, just reading my profile and looking at my photograph is not a substitute for meeting face to face, albeit online. Therefore, I offer a free thirty-minute session where you can meet me and discuss your expectations, hopes and feelings around counselling. What I offer in counselling is a place where you can open-up away from all the expectation and influence from your everyday life. I will listen, not judge, and be totally honest with you. Creating a space where you can be free to explore who you are is at the core of my practice. I think this is where growth begins. I know this approach works as I trained in counselling having found counselling effective in my own life. I believe having this lived experience is an invaluable strength in my practice. If you think counselling could help, and you’re ready to take the first step, please contact me.
