About me

I’m a qualified counsellor and hypnotherapist with a deep belief in the power of compassionate, honest connection. My work is rooted in helping people feel seen, heard, and supported—especially during times of stress, transition, or emotional pain. I support adults with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, bereavement, low mood, work-related pressure, and self-esteem issues. Many of my clients also come to me for help in making sense of past experiences, planning new directions in life, or simply to reconnect with a lost sense of self. My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on several different therapeutic models to suit your individual needs. These include person-centred counselling, CBT techniques, and solution-focused approaches, all within a warm, collaborative relationship where you set the pace. I also offer hypnotherapy where it feels appropriate, as a gentle tool for deeper relaxation or focused change. I’ve trained in working with Neurodivergent clients, and I aim to create a space that’s genuinely inclusive and responsive to who you are—not who the world expects you to be. Above all, I offer a grounded, non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and choices with honesty and care. You don’t have to have it all figured out—we can work it out together, step by step.

Training and qualifications

I am a qualified counsellor, holding a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in ethical, client-centred work. Alongside my core training, I am a qualified hypnotherapist, offering an additional therapeutic tool for clients who find benefit in deep relaxation and guided visualisation work. I have also completed specialist training in neurodiversity, helping me to work sensitively and effectively with clients who may be autistic, have ADHD, or otherwise Neurodivergent. My background includes working with adults facing anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, and identity challenges. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they move toward greater self-awareness and change.
