About me
About Tony Larkin – Psychotherapist, Counsellor, EMDR & Addiction Specialist With a deep-rooted belief in the power of compassionate, one-to-one therapy, I provide a safe, grounded, and non-judgemental space for individuals navigating some of life’s most complex challenges. I work with adults who are facing emotional struggles related to trauma, addiction, anxiety, anger, identity loss, or relationship breakdown—and help them reconnect with a sense of stability, agency, and self-worth. I hold a BA (Hons) and a Foundation Degree in Counselling from Greenwich University, and have continued my professional development to become a qualified EMDR therapist and an experienced specialist in both anger management and addiction recovery. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), as well as Addiction Professionals, reflecting my commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice. My therapeutic style is collaborative, down-to-earth, and human. Clients often tell me they feel heard—sometimes for the first time in years. Whether we’re working with the aftermath of trauma, long-standing relationship patterns, or the hidden impacts of substances like skunk cannabis, I tailor therapy to meet the real person in front of me—not a diagnosis or a label. I am particularly drawn to working with those who feel they have lost their way. This might include people moving through redundancy, retirement, or recovery from emotionally abusive relationships. Many of my clients are high-functioning but quietly overwhelmed—perfectionists, professionals, or carers who have been coping alone for too long. Therapy offers a space where it’s finally safe to stop, reflect, and begin to heal. Through my work at Eleos Counselling, I offer both in-person and online sessions, meeting clients where they are emotionally and practically. Whether you're seeking support for trauma, addiction, confidence issues, or something harder to name, I’m here to walk alongside you—at your pace.
