About me

I qualified as an integrative therapist in 2017 from Re-Vision. Before I decided to train as a therapist I have been in personal therapy and on a self exploration journey for a few years. That journey had an impact on who I am and how I relate to myself and to others. I am passionate about what it means to live a good life. And also about bringing to surface the longing that sits behind the original questions and issues that people bring into therapy. On a personal level I've learned a lot from the school of life, having experienced in my own existence joy, grief, anxiety, disappointment, jealousy, and various other feelings that make us all human. Originally from Romania I moved to the UK more than 15 years ago. I have 20+ years of experience in the financial industry. In my life I have been used to inhabit the in between spaces. I seem to bridge very different worlds, such as corporate world and therapy or living across two different countries. Are you: - wanting to make meaning of your relationships or the lack of? - trying to balance a career in a corporate world with the life outside that corporate world (whatever it may look like) - dealing with corporate burn out and have difficulties maintaining some boundaries between work and personal - navigating through mid life - simply trying to understand your interpersonal relationship patterns Whatever it is that you bring I will listen and we will explore together ways to understand what is it behind the original questions that bring you to therapy. Change takes time and it starts with understanding of what is actually going on. From that place of understanding you have more agency to make shifts in how you approach life. I have been working with clients since 2015 in various settings (including private practice and charities - such as Greenwich Mind and the Wimbledon Guild). I have worked with anxiety, bereavement, trauma, relationships issues, self esteem, anger, procrastination, heartache or meaning.

Training and qualifications

I hold a diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling from Re-Vision (re-vision.org.uk) The Re-Vision approach is integrative, transpersonal and soulful. The transpersonal approach implies that the sense of self extends beyond (trans) the individual and emphasises the spiritual aspects of the human experience. The integrative approach means that the way I work combines a number of approaches (such as psychodynamic, Gestalt, Jungian, etc,) And finally, the soulful approach is is something that is really incorporated into the entire Re-Vision approach and it simply takes soul (whatever soul is for you) into account. I am a registered member of BACP and I abide by their code of conduct.
