About me
I work with families within a dynamic community mental health hub for adults who have been impacted by generations of mental health problems . One of the key concerns affecting our clients is depression and anxiety . One of the most valuable lessons with clients facing depression and anxiety is focusing on rapport and the relationship , so people feel heard safe and empowered so they can make changes in their lives . A fundamental skill of a systemic view is to embrace diversity and what we call the social graces .As somebody from mixed heritage I can embrace diversity and seek to understand the differences and similarities that may create a barrier and establish rapport .
