About me

I trained originally as a fine artist and get inspiration visually and find peace through creativity and being outside. I am from mixed heritage and for me this feels like is an important part of my identity . Also having dyslexia hopefully enables me to attune to a wider range of similarities and differences people may experience in their lives. I work with families and couples within communities that have been impacted by generations of mental health. One of the key concerns affecting people can be depression and anxiety. One of the most valuable lessons with clients facing depression and anxiety is focusing on rapport and the relationship, so people feel heard safe and empowered so they can hopefully make changes in their lives.
