About me
It can be nerve-wracking starting counselling. Trying to figure out what is going on in your life may feel difficult to identify alone. You might feel anxious and depressed, with life feeling empty. Relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and previous trauma could be troubling you. Maybe work stress or family issues are impacting your day to day life? It could be that something not mentioned above is affecting you and you would like to work through this. This is when counselling can help. By working together, we can uncover and understand what is going on and begin to figure out how to manage and enable you to live a more fulfilling life. What will working with me will be like? I have seen the positive impact of counselling on people’s lives. I place a huge importance on providing a safe and supportive space to explore what is going on for you. All our work will be confidential, and I feel a sense of privilege in listening to your story. Together we can then begin to unlock your potential and make sense of your struggles. Our first few sessions will be focused on getting to know each other, understanding what is going on for you and thinking of what we may look to work on. I will help you to feel at ease and create a trusting bond between us. Then we can start to work through what may be troubling you and identify ways and skills to help you through your struggles.

Training and qualifications
I trained at CPPD in Humanistic Integrative Counselling. My training allows me to utilise a range of different psychotherapeutic traditions to best support your unique and individual needs, whilst also providing a warm and friendly atmosphere for our sessions. I have years of experience with clients from various backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures and gender identities. I work in both long and short-term ways in a method that is best for you. I am a registered member of the BACP and I have a practice where I see people in person in Walthamstow, Hertford and online.
