About me

I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy that works towards deep, lasting change, not just symptom relief. My approach is to foster an environment where we can explore the complexities of your mind and develop a detailed understanding of the unconscious patterns that may be limiting your growth. Through this work, it becomes possible to expand your emotional range, allowing a greater sense of freedom, expression, and authority in your life. I am a senior clinician in the NHS with extensive experience working with complex psychological difficulties. I lecture on psychoanalysis at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and previously worked within its specialist trauma service. Alongside this, I offer open-ended individual psychotherapy from my consulting room in Hackney, East London, as well as online.  I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, often navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, relationship difficulties, and questions of identity. Whatever the problem you bring, I take a serious and collaborative approach and welcome critical feedback throughout our work.
