• Welldoing is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024

  • We're celebrating by launching the Welldoing Inspiration Awards

  • Send your nominations to [email protected] before 10 May

Welldoing is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024 and to mark our journey we have created the Welldoing Inspiration Awards. I know from winning an Advantages of Age award last year (see above) how thrilling and powerful the sense of being recognised for achievements can be. So we decided to do the same for Welldoing and its aims, focusing on wellbeing and mental health.

These awards will highlight the work of a range of people who, like us, have inspired others to improve their mental health and wellbeing. We are looking for podcasters, authors, performers, politicians, sportspeople, campaigners, medical professionals, wellbeing practitioners -- anyone who over the past 10 years has inspired others with their work or example.

The sort of people we have in mind range from household names to people behind small charities, individual authors or mental health bloggers/influencers, or a great idea introduced by an institution or business. The key is that they inspire us to take action to enhance our own wellbeing.

We'd love to hear your nominations; proposals close on May 10 and judging by a group of experts and well-known names, will be in the following weeks. We will announce our award winners on June 17.

To make a nomination, email me at [email protected] with details of individuals or organisations you believe are worthy of accolades for their efforts and successes. Please put Inspirations Awards in the subject box.
