About me

Hi and welcome. You may have landed on this page because something isn’t feeling right. Life can be challenging and often we are not taught how to deal with difficulties and emotions. There’s no shame in finding support beyond our friends and family–someone who’s not only a good listener, but also skilled in providing a space where healing and change can occur. I'm Jules, a Registered BACP therapist, dedicated to helping people navigate life’s challenges, exploring what matters to them, and supporting them in moving forward. The issues I can offer support with are listed below. I am committed to your wellbeing, and offer a supportive environment where you can explore issues without judgement. No emotion, thought, or part of you is unacceptable in the process–everything can be an opportunity to bring understanding and to offer yourself compassion. My work is deeply informed by my own healing journey. I understand how challenging the journey of mental health can be, and this experience has deepened my empathy and passion for supporting others through their own hardships. My Approach I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Because every person is unique, I tailor my work to your individual needs, drawing on training in a range of modalities, and working at a pace and depth that feels right for you. Your perspective, choices, and voice are deeply important in how we work together. I see therapy as a collaborative process, and I believe the quality of the relationship we build is central to the work we do. I work from a trauma-sensitive and holistic perspective, seeing you as a whole person (mind, body, and spirit), and exploring internal and external influences. Where helpful, I may integrate breath and body awareness, parts work, psychoeducation and mindfulness to support deeper understanding, resilience and kindness. I offer both short-term or open-ended counselling for adults (18+) online, and I can also offer therapy from a Christian perspective. Testimonials “If I’m honest, I didn’t really think that counselling would make much difference. How wrong was I!!! Thank you Jules, for not judging me, for letting me speak honestly and openly, and for your understanding and empathy. I am certain that without my sessions, I would not be where I am now… Jules saw me through one of the darkest times of my life, and I honestly can’t thank her enough.” “Jules listened, challenged me when I needed it, encouraged me, guided me through numerous challenges, and taught me skills and processes that I have implemented into everyday life.” “Jules is an outstanding therapist; kind, intuitive, empathetic, and highly knowledgeable. She provides invaluable support, a steady, grounding presence, and a space solely for me. I feel safe to open up with her and be truly heard.”
