About me
I am an experienced and compassionate counsellor committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental, and empowering therapeutic environment for Adult/Teen clients, working in a trauma-informed, client-led way to support healing and growth. I am a theraputic counsellor in private practice, based in a discreet location in Aylesbury, offering free parking and disabled access. I am passionate about supporting individuals and teenagers through life’s challenges with empathy, respect, and authenticity. With experience working across a range of emotional and psychological issues, particularly depression, aniexty, breavement, loss, chronic pain and much more. I offer an integrated, person-centred approach that is tailored to each of my client’s unique needs. My background includes working in both agency and private settings, where I have supported clients from diverse backgrounds. I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental space where my clients feel truly heard, valued, and empowered to explore their inner world and grow at their own pace. My work with clients affected by neurological illnesses, such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and stroke, has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges they face, including identity changes, loss of independence, fluctuating physical health, and social isolation. I approach each client with sensitivity, respect, and patience, recognising that neurological conditions can affect communication, memory, and cognitive processing, and I adapt my work accordingly to meet each individual’s needs. I operate within the ethical framework of my professional body, BACP, maintaining my registration/accreditation through ongoing CPD, supervision, and reflective practice. This allows me to put my client at the heart of our therapy together to allow change in your life. I am offer a 15 minutes chat to talk about what is bringing you to counselling and how I might be able to help. I believe that we need to heal and grow and then change is achieveable with Talking Therapy.
