About me

Each client is unique so I aim to tailor your therapy to best suit you and your circumstances. I will work from a stance of non-judgemental curiosity as we explore, together, what's brought you into therapy and what you hope to gain from it. I won't tell you what to do because that won't serve you in the long-run, when we're no longer working together. Instead, my objective is to help you find your own, unique answers to whatever is troubling you, whether that's an easily identifiable event or relationship, or a more general sense of distress. By exploring, together, key events and relationships in your life, how you make sense of them, and how this is impacting your everyday life, we can form a clearer understanding of your unique story. In doing this, we begin to identify your ways of coping that are genuinely helpful alongside those that are likely to be contributing to your distress. I will support you in identifying your inner resources as we work together. As you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, meaningful solutions tend to emerge naturally and, when change comes from within, it is far more likely to endure.
