About me
Feeling anxious, stressed and experiencing low self-esteem can be exhausting. I can help you explore and address your issues, working towards a more content future. Hello, I’m Alicia and I am therapist providing both short-and-long term therapy to adult individuals in Chiswick (West London) or Kensington (South West London). I offer online sessions via Zoom if you prefer the comfort of your own home. As a dog-owner who loves nature, I also offer walking therapy in the West London area. As a therapist, I believe in bringing my full authentic self into the work I do with clients. Our therapeutic relationship is at the heart of our work together, creating an environment where you feel seen, heard and understood. I take a humanistic approach, using a range of techniques to suit your hopes and needs. I have worked in the NHS and have experience working in short-term and long-term therapeutic relationships. I work with individuals struggling with a wide range of difficulties including trauma, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression. I regularly work with clients presenting pregnancy and motherhood issues, and my practice includes supporting new parents adjusting to these new chapters in their lives. I have become passionate about life as a new parent and developed a deep understanding of the unique emotional changes it brings. I also work with clients in corporate industries, experiencing workplace burnout, anxieties and bullying. Prior to becoming a counsellor, I worked in a corporate role for over nine years. During this time, I developed a clear understanding of the impact stress and anxiety can have on the body and mind and an awareness of the life-changing benefits to therapy. I trained integratively and so have experience working with different theories and types of therapy. Everyone has their own story, which is why it is important to use the right therapy for you. Sometimes people come to therapy with a clear goal in mind and others are unsure where to start. I offer a free 20 minute introductory phone call during which you can ask any questions you may have.
