    • Book for the live Central London recording of Man Up/ Man Down podcast on evening of October 17, with special speakers on transforming adversity into growth
    • The Man Up/ Man Down podcast focuses on midlife men and is sponsored by Welldoing

Man Up / Man Down is the podcast for middle-aged men,  hosted by David and Volker who are passionate about opening up conversations around men's mental and physical health. Meeting soon after the end of lockdown ended they realised they were facing many of the same challenges in life, many of which were due to their age, and Man Up / Man Down was born.

Following the success of their first live podcast recording last November, which featured Welldoing's founder Louise Chunn in Brighton, their next event will be on October 17 at 1 Seething Lane, London, United Kingdom, EC3N 4AX.  From 6pm, there will be networking drinks with men's health experts and live recording will begin at 7pm.

The topic for the event is Overcoming fear: Transforming adversity into a road map for growth. The headline guest is Marc Convey, who has overcome incredible adversity, following a life-changing accident at the age of 14, which left him with severe burns and a 3% chance of survival. He's gone on to live a life of adventure and fulfilment which includes being one of the most recognisable figures on the international professional poker circuit . And he is a charismatic and humorous storyteller.

This event is for you if:

•            You're a professional in self-development/mental health/mindset

•            You want to learn more about self-development/mental health/mindset

•            You're facing a challenge in life that you can't see a way through

•            You want to learn how to become more resilient

•            You've faced trauma that you feel is holding you back

•            You just want to hear some middle-aged men talk about mental health and serious matters in a light-hearted manner

Tickets are £10 for early birds, £15 when those have gone.  The first 20 guests will also receive a special gift. As Welldoing is a long-term supporter of Man Up/ Man Down, Welldoing members are offered a discount of 30% on full price tickets. So if you miss out on Early Bird entry, you can still get reduced entry.
