Integrative therapistAbout Me
Are you looking for help with feelings of sadness, depression, anxiety, tension, anger and frustration?
It is very difficult to try to carry on whilst dealing with all those emotions. They can overwhelm us and affect our daily lives. You may also have low self esteem and be finding it hard to carry on your normal life. I believe that empathic, non judgemental counselling (also known as talking therapy) can be effective for anyone who feels that a change is needed. Many challenges present themselves to us today, including our relationships with partners, children, extended family, friends, and people we work with. Counselling can help people discover the path to personal growth through an understanding of themselves and their potential. Successful development makes us more flexible in relationships, more creative and puts us further along the path of becoming authentic and resilient. If you are looking for counselling whether short term or long term please contact me to discuss availability.
Starting Counselling therapy
People are often anxious about starting therapy. With this in mind, it might be helpful to think about our first meeting as an opportunity to meet each other and explore how therapy might help, and whether therapy is right for you at this time.
There is no commitment at this stage. If you decide that you wish to continue, we will then agree upon a time and day which is convenient for both of us to meet. The therapy sessions last one hour and are usually once per week. We will agree terms and conditions and a contract will be signed by both of us in accordance with the ethical guidlines of the BACP.
