Integrative counsellorAbout Me
I am Integrative Counsellor and an Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapist. I offer individual short- and long-term therapy for adults. As an integrative therapist I can draw on a wide range of effective psychotherapeutic approaches to tailor the sessions according to my client’s needs, personality, and individual circumstances.
I provide an approachable, empathic, non-judgmental counselling to help you process difficult life changes, depression, anxiety, communication, and relationship issues, bereavement, anger issues, work related stress, cultural issues, life transition challenges, low self-esteem, existential and spiritual issues, or a space for personal development or self-reflection. I also believe that the counsellor/client relationship is a creative partnership where both work together to find a balance between guiding and facilitating self-discovery. For me, counselling is a journey that is unique to every person. I seek to provide not only a space for helping my clients to relieve distressing symptoms safely, but also to enable them to promote personal growth and a more balanced life.
I am currently working for the NHS as a High Intensity Counsellor and have held other counselling positions working for an Employment Assistance Programme, Bereavement Services and Anxiety UK. Prior to becoming a counsellor, I trained as a Speech and Language Therapists in a stroke and trauma patient hospital with adults and young people.
