About Me

I have worked within the mental health field for well over 15years. I started my career working within the voluntary sector in residental and day programmes for substance misuse. I have since worked across sectors: voluntary, statutory and the private sector. I have worked with a range of complex issues, in particular psychosis, substance misuse & mood disorders. My work has consisted of: group work, one to one, teaching, workshop delivery, reflective practice across departments & the delivery of clinical supervision, and programme development and delivery.  I have also worked in private practice throughout this time.

Areas I specialise in are: Anxiety (social, performance, Panic Disorder (panic attacks), GAD, OCD, fear of flying), Depression, Stress, Sleep, Anger & resentment, Bereavement, Substance misuse (in particular alcohol reduction), Self confidence/criticism, Motivation, Life adjustment, Binge eating (Bullimia), Relationship & Dating struggles, Work related issues (i.e. assertion, meaning, motivation & bullying).
