Jill Threadgold Integrative psychotherapist , TW11
Within an environment based on a foundation of trust and mutual respect, I seek to understand each person's own individual experience and adapt my approach to best suit each client. As an integrative practitioner I draw upon many therapeutic approaches. Whilst appreciating that the past plays an important role in the development of our patterns of behaviour, I am also able to utilise cognitive behavioural techniques to help clients cope better cope with everyday life.
I have experience with a range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement, chronic health conditions and loss. I have practiced within a variety of settings, including the NHS, and am currently a volunteer counsellor at The Mulberry Centre, providing support to people impacted by cancer. I have spent over 20 years working within a corporate environment in the field of people development and I continue to do so. This experience, combined with periods spent overseas, are often valuable in my therapeutic work as I find it deepens my understanding of the many challenges faced in the modern day world.
