Jane Anghelatos
Jungian psychotherapistAbout Me
Perhaps you are suffering from anxiety, depression or relationship difficulties - maybe I can help. I have nearly 20 years experience in working with individuals in a GP surgery and private practice. I also have experience in education and organisation development.
I work either short or long term, once or twice weekly, and am suitably accredited to work with students on most college courses. I like to work with dreams and people's inner world in order to see how this relates to their present experience.
In short term work, we would develop a focus together. My work in primary care has equipped me to work with a wide range of issues, mostly short term, and often focusing on illness or bereavement as well as anxiety and depression.
I am particularly interested in sibling rivalry in families and how we respond to life changes. I also have an interest in how therapy can help those engaged in the performing arts. I am a member of the Jungian Society of Analytical Psychology and I am in analysis myself with a member of this society. I am a passionate believer in self development and finding our aspirations for life. I am also an experienced teacher and tutor on a psychodynamic counselling course.
