Corinna Shea
Person-centred/humanistic practitionerAbout Me
I am an experienced and qualified Person-Centred counsellor, and so work in a client-led, humanistic way. However, the way in which I work with each person will be tailored to them and them alone - I believe the therapy must fit the client and their needs, not the other way round. With this in mind I may feel it helpful to draw on skills from other therapeutic models such as CBT, Gestalt and Existential Therapy.
I have appreciated being able to counsel many different people, from varied backgrounds and walks of life, with both simple and complex issues. As well as my work in general counselling practice I have worked within the fields of bereavement, school and college environments (staff and students).

I am also happy to offer online and telephone counselling, for those who find it difficult to come to the practice.
