Claire Ball Cognitive behaviour therapy psychotherapist , CB6
As a Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with more than six years' experience working within a number of therapeutic settings, I offer one-to-one appointments to help adults with a range of difficulties.
I am experienced in working with a range of sources of distress, including:
- Generalised Anxiety Disorder
- Health Anxiety
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- Low self-esteem
- Stress and worry
- Tics and Tourette Syndrome
- Trauma/Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Appointments are offered to over 18s on a one-to-one basis in comfortable rooms within a GP practice in Sutton, Cambridgeshire, and also now at The Self Centre on the outskirts or Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
Appointments are usually 50 minutes in length and offered on a weekly basis, starting with an initial assessment appointment (90 minutes), which offers a chance to meet and make a decision jointly as to whether I will be able to help you reach your therapy goals.
The focus of your sessions depend on what you want to get from your therapy. The emphasis will be on helping you to help yourself, and there will be no obligation to continue when you feel ready to end therapy.
