Alina Barrowcliff
Existential psychotherapistAbout Me
I offer individual therapy in my consultation rooms in Harley Street London W1G, central Henley-on-Thames RG9 and near Watlington OX49.
Therapy helps when life gets tough, times when we find ourselves distressed, troubled and alone. This can manifest as anxiety, depression, anger or grief. You may feel overwhelmed, stuck, unfulfilled. Uncertain of what to do but wanting to talk without being judged.
I offer a warm, confidential and open-minded space to explore your difficulties. A space to consider how you find yourself in the world, your relationship with it , with yourself and the meanings you create. As this becomes clearer, new understandings about what may be preventing you from living more fully will emerge, alongside new possibilities for living a richer more fulfilling life.
This exploration can be over a short period or longer term depending on what you are seeking, exploring a particular issue or dilemma, or over a longer period of time to get to know who you are.
I offer a holistic approach that sees body, mind, emotions and spirit as inseparable aspects of being which all require attentive care. I will not impose fixed ideas or concepts but I will do all I can to facilitate your search for understanding and help you find your own meaning of life.
I believe that respect for the individual person, understanding and being real are important to therapy, qualities which underlie how I will engage with you.
