About Me

I am an experienced counsellor and psychodynamic psychotherapist and a registered member of the BACP since 2013.

I have been a therapist for 10 years, working in private practice and for a range of community- based mental health services in Islington specialising in supporting clients whose mental health has been affected by a range of experiences including depression, anxiety, domestic violence, inequality, discrimination, racism and childhood sexual abuse. Working with clients from diverse ethnic backgrounds has enabled me to understand and empathise with the cultural context of each individual's unique situation.

For over a decade, I have provided a safe space where clients can talk openly about most distressing and troubling issues in the knowledge that they will be considered with compassion and in a total confidence. I work with clients in both English and Polish in face-to-face setting as well as online and via telephone.

My work always begins with an assessment ( initial conversation) to determine the nature of the problem, the most appropriate intervention and whether I’m the right person to help with these problems. The experience of the assessment should give you an idea of how I work, what is expected of you and what you can expect from me. This meeting typically lasts 50 minutes. My standard fee for the assessment and ongoing therapy is £75.
