Adam Morris
Cognitive behaviour therapistAbout Me
I am an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with a passion for supporting and helping people. Since studying psychology over 10 years ago my aim has always been to provide people with the tools on how to manage their mental health more effectively. Just like physical health, we all have mental health and I believe that each and every one of us must take the time and action to look after our mental wellbeing. My passion for mental health is demonstrated through the work of my day job at PlanetK2 by focusing on helping people to perform better at work. I am a leading expert in mental health content and have developed hundreds of pieces of online accessible material to educate, inspire and break down the stigma attached to mental health.
I have a range of experience working in mental health. For the past 3 years I have volunteered for the mental health charity Mind, offering emotional support in an inpatient unit and providing 1 to 1 support at a wellbeing centre treating a range of mental health disorders.
I work primarily using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and can treat a variety of mental health disorders including: anxiety, depression, phobias, health anxiety, social anxiety, panic, OCD and low self esteem. I work in North West London covering the areas of Borehamwood, Elstree, Radlett, Stanmore, Edgware, Hendonand surrounding areas.
