THE UK’S MOST INNOVATIVE THERAPY MARKETPLACE

Potential clients find you by using our questionnaire, designed to match them with the therapists most suited to their needs, or by a simple postcode search with multiple filters.

The UK’s premium health resource NHS Choices links to our site, and accolades have come from such varied sources as Stylist, The Daily Telegraph, Good Housekeeping, YOU magazine, The Spectator and the Daily Mail’s agony aunt.

Our members* pay £12.50+vat per month to be on the platform, and they can cancel at any stage. They can also use the booking and payment system which enables clients to access their therapist's calendar, make or change bookings, and pay online. While this is in beta-testing mode it is a free service; a transaction fee of £2.50 will eventually be made per booking.

Therapist Francesca Rogers (below) has been using the booking and payment system for several months

"This new booking and payment system has been so beneficial for my practice. It’s now become a natural part of the admin process when setting up appointments and payments with potential clients.

For me, the admin side has always been hugely time consuming; whether I'm walking to the bank to pay in cash, managing my diary or just returning calls to book in appointments. Welldoing has taken away all that admin!

Welldoing.org gives the client the freedom to book in for themselves and also ensures that the 48-hour cancellation policy is adhered to, which I sometimes found difficult managing in the working relationship. I would recommend all fellow counsellors and therapists to try it.”

Liz Jeffries counsellor

Manchester therapist Liz Jeffries is another convert to the booking and payment system. "I've tried a few systems like this, but yours is the best, and it really suits the therapy profession. My clients really appreciate the fact that they can have their booking information at hand, and they don't need to set things up with me by phone. The payment is very smooth too. I'd definitely recommend it to other therapists."

Welldoing.org members can also contribute content to the site. We use a combination of high quality, keyword-rich content, search engine optimisation, social media and a weekly newsletter to market our therapists. Founder Louise Chunn is also a former editor of Psychologies so we are often approached for expert opinions and therapist quotes.

You can read more about the platform on our About page, but here are comments from just a couple of our therapist members:

“Welldoing.org is so well placed to match patients with the right therapist to suit their needs. I've had such positive feedback from patients.”

Sophia Hilsley, psychodynamic psychotherapist, The Courtyard Garden

“Welldoing.org uses a wide variety of search criteria which helps the client find the therapist with the best ‘fit’ and this makes a big difference to the successful outcome of therapy.”

Sue Cowan-Jenssen, integrative psychotherapist

"I think welldoing.org is head and shoulders above other listings sites."

Jacky Francis Walker, psychotherapist, The Harley Consultancy
