I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor of 16 years standing and offer face to face sessions to clients from two comfortable, discreet, and easily accessible locations in Sale and Urmston, Greater Manchester. For those clients preferring 'remote' therapy, I also offer sessions on Zoom or over the telephone. Clients can choose to have just a few sessions, or come for a longer period - I am happy to work with you and provide the support you need for as long as you need it.
I use the approach of 'person-centred' counselling, which gives you the time and space to explore the issues that are troubling you, either related to your current life, or from past events. I also offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, for those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, phobias and so on.

Training and qualifications
I hold the Diploma in Counselling and a Certificate in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). I am a full registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work according to their principles and ethics. I have experience of working with a wide range of individuals, some of this gained in a hospital occupational health counselling service.
I am also qualified as a supervisor of counsellors and hold a Certificate in Supervision.
