About Me

I offer a safe, non judgemental space in which to explore what is troubling you. We will explore your feelings and thoughts together which will help you to gain new insight and understanding of yourself and eventually move towards achieving your full potential in relationships, work and family life.

I offer an initial consultation.  This gives us the opportunity to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and what your hopes and anxieties might be. It also allows you to get a sense of my way of working and decide whether I am the right therapist for you.

If we agree to work together, I would offer 50 minute sessions on the same day and at the same time each week. I usually work on a long-term (open-ended) basis but also offer shorter term psychotherapy where appropriate.

Training and qualifications

I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist. I trained at WPF Therapy, one of the leading academic and clinical institutions for psychotherapy in the UK. I also trained at the British Psychotherapy Foundation and studied Philosophy at the University of London. I worked in film and television for many years before becoming a psychotherapist.  I am a member of the FPC and abide by the code of ethics and professional standards defined by three major accrediting organisations – the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and United Kingdom of Counselling & Psychotherapy (UKCP).
