About Me

Hi, if you're reading this you are probably at a place in your life where are you questioning or unsure about some aspect of life or of yourself. You may be in a very painful, or confusing place right now, and are looking for a way to help work through this.

I work with clients who present with a range of issues including relationship difficulties, bereavement, anxiety and depression.  Some come with a sense of difficulty in understanding themselves or their place in the world, and a desire to explore this in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment

My approach to therapy is to provide a warm, empathetic space where you will feel heard, understood and free to live your true self

I offer weekly, one-to-one counselling for individuals, couples and for those in open/polyamorous relationships, both online and in my therapy room located in Leyton, East London

I strongly feel the importance of contextualising ourselves with regards to our intersectionality, and noticing how we are impacted by power dynamics, prejudices and privilege in society. I strive to make my practice welcoming to people however they present including around gender, nationality, racial background, sexual orientation, relationship style, religious beliefs, ethnicity, and other areas of difference

I am a psychotherapist in my fourth year of training for an Advanced Diploma in Transactional Analysis, working towards accreditation with the UK Council for Psychotherapy

My modality of transactional analysis can help you to reflect upon and understand your thought processes, provide an in depth understanding of your feelings, and discover meaning behind behaviour patterns which may seem at first difficult to understand

Before training as a psychotherapist I worked for 15 years immersed in the world of finance. Building relationships with clients and business contacts was always the part I enjoyed the most, so while psychotherapy is a very different field, it felt in many ways like a natural progression to change my career to one where the person is the heart and soul

To truly engage with life I believe we gain immeasurably through exploring sometimes difficult existential themes, such as what it really means to us to be alive and to live a truly fulfilling, engaging and meaningful life.

Therefore, I wouldn't shy away from the difficult questions around what we are doing here with our time on this Earth, are we living a meaningful life and one which we won't regret? What can we do to unlock our passions, truly know ourselves and engage with life knowing every part of ourselves is glowing and vibrantly alive?
