Susanne Levin
Relational psychotherapistAbout Me
I am a UKCP accredited attachment-based psychotherapist based in Farringdon, where I see people for psychotherapy sessions in a relaxed, private and quiet office in central London. I offer therapy in both English and Swedish. I have worked with most issues including anger management, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, phobias, relationship and child-related issues, separation anxiety, divorce, OCD, stress, psychosomatics and many others.
One issue that I frequently encounter is anxiety stemming from the desire to live up to the perceived expectations of others. We are all striving to live up to some impossible ideal and can often get almost paralysed by the fear of not reaching this goal. This often leads to a vicious cycle in which one feels incapable of moving forward, as in the face of expectations, it can often feel safer to not even try. The attempt to live up to expectations can also lead to burn-out due to forever striving for the impossible.
I know it can feel daunting to take the first steps towards starting therapy, so take your time to read through my website www.psychotherapyec1.co.uk and see how it sits with you. If you then decide that you are interested in arranging an initial meeting or have any further questions, do not hesitate to get in contact and I will get back in touch with you as soon as possible - usually within 24 hours.
