Susan Morgan Integrative psychotherapist , TW9
Hello, my name is Susan and I am a qualified integrative psychotherapist with experience in addiction, working with substance addiction, alcoholism, co-dependency, debting, gambling and porn addiction. I am also familiar with the 12 Step process. I am also able to work with depression and anxiety and other life issues that you wish to focus on only such as your work life and relationships.
What is psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a talking therapy which is conducted on a regular basis, at the same time, weekly. My intention is to help you gain a greater understanding and freedom from long suffering, persistent behaviours, which are affecting your wellbeing, such as a persistent inner critic impacting your self esteem or self worth to difficulties in your relationship. Or explore persistent conditions such as depression and anxiety which may be having an effect on your social life, personal relationships or work life, for example, and look at ways in which we can work through these to help your life feel more purposeful and enjoyable again.
How I work?
Our sessions will begin with an assessment of one hour to one and half hours, in which a number of questions will be asked so we can establish if therapy is for you. And to look at what the life problem is that you wish to work with. This will follow with an arrangement of six sessions to explore what you want to look at it in the therapy process. During this time you can decide if you wish to go forward in the therapy.
As an Integrative therapist I am able to use a number of different approaches to help you gain clarity on what you are presenting for therapy. Overall, I am a Humanistic psychotherapist looking to help you express your best self. That part of you which may have got suppressed over many years because of taking care of your family; the pressures of your career or even a relationship that you have fought to keep.
