About Me

Highly qualified accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and Life Coach

Are you feeling anxious, depressed and in need of emotional support? Counselling can provide an opportunity to share problems with someone who is outside your situation and has the time, skills, and objectivity to listen without getting upset or involved.

I believe the aim of counselling is to bring insight and perspective by helping clients to explore the causes of their difficulties and to offer support through the process of change that follows

Life-coaching: Not only can coaching help you set new goals for yourself, but it can also help you achieve them. Life Coaching can help you overcome your obstacles and so begin to lead a happier life

I am an accredited BACP Psychotherapist with over 12 years experience of counselling and treating clients for a range of complex psychological issues in clinical and private settings. I am an accredited Counsellor  with the BACP, I am on the UK register for Counsellors and Psychotherapists.  I also hold qualification in Life Coaching .

Apart from the main Counselling fields i.e Depression, Anxiety and Stress, I have excellent experience working in the Drugs and Alcohol field, Bereavement, working with couples, mental health issues, also working with young adult.  My CBT skills help adults regulate their thinking process  working towards taking  the chaos out of their lives and replace with inner peace.

Life is a constant flow of connection and disconnection, and suffering occurs when we fall out of contact with ourselves and others.

I am an accredited and registered BACP Integrative Counsellor who is a diligent and committed therapist with a proven ability to provide support and an in depth understanding of vulnerable people in times of difficulties that they may face in life. I always act with integrity whilst also respecting privacy, dignity, needs, and beliefs

I am a worthy team player who has displayed outstanding organisational and effective communication skills in my previous positions with various services including mental health, and as a freelance counsellor whilst also working alongside mutlti disciplinary teams .

More recently I have been working with Wellbeing companies who offer an EAP service to their employees for emotional and wellbeing support.

I believe the aim of counselling is to bring insight and perspective by helping clients to explore the causes of their difficulties and to offer support through the process of change that follows.

I continue to work towards improving my skills and knowledge through supervision and training embracing new approaches in therapy and any changes in the law. I work in accordance with the BACP ethical framework and fully aware of the limits that are required by confidentiality and the necessary boundaries set by legislation, policies and procedures
