About Me

As an integrative practitioner I adopt a warm and relaxed approach founded in contemporary research based thinking. Collaboratively I can support you with issues such as anxiety, relationship or work problems to help you find a way through.

I believe that counselling and therapy is an important resource which can support you to look at what is troubling you and tackle issues which may feel hard to manage alone. I encourage you to be interested in yourself and how you are in the world. You will be able to increase your awareness of some of your stuck, outmoded patterns of behaving and start to notice and challenge the limiting beliefs you may hold about yourself.  We will explore your distress, but also work to unveil your hope and new possibilities. This can make you feel lighter and facilitate changes to the way you live your everyday life.

I provide a warm, welcoming, safe space in which you can be you, and be seen. I encourage you discover what it means to live more fully as yourself and connect with your inner resources and vitality. This can help you find what is meaningful for you, and can help you to connect to your joy and find more fulfilling ways of relating to others in your life.

I practice from a place of inclusion, which values uniqueness and diversity and I work relationally to understand how we impact one another. I am committed to making therapy accessible to the widest range of people possible. I work to make you feel welcome, as you.

Training and qualifications

I have over 15 years of work experience supporting people in different capacities with their mental health and at points of crisis in their life. This has led me to be deeply interested in what it is to be human. How we make connections with others. How we find a place of belonging and what makes for a meaningful life. I will aim to help you find a place of peace and connect with your vitality.

As a qualified integrative practitioner I draw on contemporary, research based theoretical approaches to understand your circumstances and feelings. I help you work through your life experiences and work collaboratively to enable you to connect with and understand yourself more fully. This is often empowering and life affirming.

I work using art based methods with those who are interested in exploring in this way, and would be happy to discuss this if it is of interest to you.

Over recent years I have developed a particular interest in working with the LGBTQ+ community and gender and relationship diversity.
