About Me

I am a deeply compassionate man with a passion for supporting others through life's challenges. I specialise in trauma, addiction, and men’s mental health because I know how it feels to struggle - and how difficult it can be to seek help. That's why I work with you to create safe space to help you grow.

What to Expect: A therapy session with me is relaxed and non-clinical and sessions are collaborative and centred around you.  I aim to create a welcoming, grounded space where you feel safe to express yourself without judgment. To do this, I balance structure and flexibility, letting you take the lead while gently guiding when needed. I actively listen and reflect back with empathy and clarity, ensuring you feel heard and understood.

Together, we may explore deeper narratives like your sense of connection, purpose, and values. At the same time, we can, if you wish, integrate practical tools, such as mindfulness, breathwork, and grounding exercises, to help you connect with your body and emotions -especially when working through trauma.

By the end of our work together, you’ll have a good sense of us focusing on your own strengths, and your potential for growth.

My passions in therapy:

Connection and Community: I believe in the power of connection - whether that’s exploring the ‘power of the tribe’ or encouraging healing through supportive relationships. I’m passionate about helping you avoid isolation and addiction by fostering a sense of belonging.

Connection for me is also about connecting to the body - an awareness that trauma is more than a memory of an event. It is the impact that it has on you - and that we store this impact in the body. By fostering and awareness of that and finding ways to release it you can begin to heal both the body and the mind.

Nature and Movement in Healing: I am an advocate of incorporating Nature in the healing journey. Whether through walking therapy or mindfulness practices in natural settings, I see nature as a space where we can connect, ground ourselves and process emotions.

Challenging Stigma: I am committed to breaking down barriers around mental health, addiction, and trauma. I favour person-centred approaches that empower you as an individual over more clinical methods that can sometimes feel distant or disempowering.

Helping Men Heal: I have a deep commitment to men’s mental health, trauma and addiction - particularly around issues like male suicide awareness, healthy masculinity, paternal postnatal depression, and male sexual abuse. My goal is to help you find the strength to navigate your emotions and struggles in a way that feels approachable and supportive.
