About Me

Life can be complicated and sometimes painful and seeking help can be a daunting task.

I like to invite clients to an initial consultation which I offer free of charge. this provides an opportunity for me to understand what concerns you and how I may best help. It also provides you with the chance to see how comfortable you are in sharing and exploring your concerns with me. I offer a confidential space and a non-judgmental attitude, you can be assured that your concerns will be met with respect.

I am a fully qualified, accredited and experienced psychotherapist/counsellor. I have worked with a wide-range of issues such as anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties. These can be the result of present circumstances, trauma, bereavement, stress or childhood experiences. I believe that every person is unique and therefore therapy should meet individual needs.

I am happy to talk to you on the phone as a first step, so please contact me to discuss any concerns you may have.

I am located in North West London (St. Johns Wood) and am easily accessible by transport links (Jubilee line and numerous bus routes).

I offer individual, face-to-face sessions as well as Skype and telephone sessions. I work on both short-term (12 sessions) and long-term basis and also offer therapy in Urdu.

I have experience in working with people with dementia and offer therapy to dementia carers. I can provide the opportunity for people with dementia and their carers to come to therapy together to facilitate communication and understanding.

I offer therapy to people struggling with bereavement as well as those with a diagnosis of life-limiting illness.

I bring a deep understanding of issues around being in a foreign land and cultural differences to my work.
