About Me

I am a qualified clinical psychologist and currently work full time in the NHS alongside my private practice. Clinical psychologists prioritise evidence-based practice. This means that we are trained to use therapeutic models which have been researched and proven to be clinically effective.

The most central aspect to any therapeutic model is the therapeutic relationship. I am sensitive and non-judgemental, and am committed to helping you to further understand your difficulties, working with you in a flexible and compassionate manner in order to enable you to improve your wellbeing. Whether you have a specific difficulty you would like to focus on or feel generally dissatisfied with life or relationships, I offer a confidential space to help you to explore and better understand yourself, in order to gain confidence and improve your quality of life.

I am trained in both brief models of therapy (such as CBT) and longer-term interventions. We will initially meet to think together about what might be most suited to your needs.

I have experience working with:

- Depression and low mood

- Anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, and OCD

- Stress and burnout

- Bereavement

- Anger management

- Physical health difficulties and chronic pain

- Interpersonal difficulties
