Simon Rutter Psychodynamic psychotherapist , E8
It could be that you have a clear idea about the concerns that bring you to therapy, but it is just as likely that the reasons feel confusing. Either way, following our initial contact by phone or email we would meet for a session to discuss in detail what has prompted you to seek out therapy and how the psychodynamic approach could help. This is an open conversation, an opportunity to talk about the work we would do and to think about the best way forward for you.
I work in private practice in London and Leigh-On-Sea as well at South London and Maudsley NHS Trust. My therapeutic approach - psychodynamic psychotherapy - works with different types of psychological distress; interpersonal and relationship issues, depression and anxiety, loss and bereavement, abuse and working with trauma. I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am committed to their ethical framework and code of conduct.
