Shivani SidapraIntegrative counsellor
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, divorce, breakup, family issues or loss, counselling can be incredibly helpful and healing. We all require some support at a stage in our lives, and feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or lost is nothing to feel ashamed of, but can leave you wanting and searching for more. Helping to raise awareness of your experience in the present, I can facilitate and support your process towards developing a new unique perspective. I believe by incorporating the cognitive, physical and emotional experience, we can reach a deeper, more meaningful understanding of ourselves.
I offer a safe, confidential space to explore your feelings, thoughts and actions, finding a way forward together. I offer an initial session at a lower cost, to explore what brings you to therapy and see if we are the right match for your needs. I offer face to face sessions at my practice in South Woodford, and the option of online sessions if this is more suitable.
OnlineI also provide my services online.

Training and qualifications
I employ an Integrative approach to therapy, mainly person-centred and based in the here and now, while adapting my approach to each individual client's needs. Being qualified in Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Relationship Counselling and Hypnotherapy means I have a wide range of skills and resources to offer.
I have experience working with a wide range of presenting issues, and with those of all ages. My previous experience includes working within schools with children and adolescents, and working in a paliative context with the elderly. While I have specific and specialist areas of expertise, I also work with a much broader range of issues within my private practice. I also offer cultural sensitive therapy, which can be useful for those who feel they have emotional, social, cultural or religious factors affecting them.
