I am a fully qualified and experienced integrative counsellor, working with both young people and adults.  I am a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists. In addition, I possess over two decades of professional experience working with diverse communities in client supporting roles, across statutory services, education and third sector organisations. 

I learned at a young age that Speaking Our Business is wrong. That we should keep our private lives, concerns, struggles and thoughts to ourselves.

Through my own life challenges and time spent in the therapist client’s chair; I have learned of the freedom that comes from choosing to speak our business, with trusted other(s).

Speaking Our Business can free us from long outgrown behaviours and habits. It can liberate us from the burden of secrets held inside for far too long. It can open us up to the beauty of real connections to life and others.

It is my belief that change is possible at any stage or any age. I value difference and passionately believe in your intrinsic value and right to be you. No concern of yours is too big or small to bring to my clients’ chair. 

I offer you an open mind, gentle curiosity and my commitment to apply my full attention and skills to your concerns. It is my hope and intention that we build a safe and trusting counselling relationship, in which we work in partnership, steadily progressing towards your desired outcomes.
