Shirley Archibald-William Person-centred/humanistic therapist , W13

Hi - welcome to my profile.

We are all unique in experiencing and dealing with our feelings, thoughts and emotions.  As we grow, our self concept changes, becoming quite heavy to deal with as well as circumstance, situations and life impacting our thoughts, behavior, spirit and mood.

I believe, to enable positive change, we should address the concerns that have disabled our self worth as the burden can also alter our esteem, values and abilities.

I would like to offer you empathy, as I attentively listen and support you, as we explore your journey of self, wether this is on a 1:1, couples or small group basis.

I believe that I can offer you real and genuine sustenance as you realize your needs to enable focussing on the changes you desire.

Though I am trained as a Person Centered Therapist, I combine other modalities, which aids my Clients to engage.  This enhances my practice!

I currently have a private practice, and work part time as an Arts Therapist for children in a local primary practice.

My experience includes working with charitable organisations:

Bereavement Therapist with CRUSE (bereavement), Counsellor for EACH Rise (Drug and Substance Abuse/Addictions) & abused young women at YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association).

I work with children, adolescents and young adults who are encountering difficulties at school and at home - growing up, self harming, low self-confidence, education, etc. I also work with parents and carers.
